NG 1/100 Gundam Dynames Review!

BOOOM!
Its teh review of TT Hongli NG 1/100 : Gundam Dynames!

First off, hello readers.
Its been a few days since my
last update and heres a new post.

I've been sceptical
whether there's even a single person that read my
blog, as there have not been a single comment in the
past months. Its quite a...hurmm...how could i say it?
heart break situation? or something like that. :(

But, fuck that. Its just a fun blog that i wrote as an
enjoyment for myself and the aim is to share my
thoughts and reviews about gunpla. so, i dont care. :)

I really care guys, please comment. or i'll cry.
BAWWWWWWWWW :(

*cough2*

Lets get to the review. As usual, we'll start with a
360 degrees profile shot.

Here's some background info. Gundam Dynames is one of
the main gundam that appeared in the first season of
Gundam OO that is piloted by the first Lockon Stratos.
and he dies at the end of season 1 killed by Ali Al
Saachezgassssssssssssssssspp...sorry guys.

Spoiler alert. :D

Being a gun type gundam, this guy isn't
short of firepower.

Well, Dynames looks nice and like other Gundam OO MS,
he looks kinda "slim" or other people prefer to call
it anorexic? I dont know. He do feels a bit light, but
nonetheless, he's sturdy. and that's a good thing
considering the "slim" body design.

The holster for the gun in each side of the legs
really adds to the overall looks of a "gun type
gundam" this kit has. Really looks awesome.

He also have a cloak mode that can be seen in the pics
below.

Nice isn't it? but the rifle looks a bit out of place
though. Sticking out like that.

Next up is the articulation. We'll start with the head
first. The design of the head reminds me of a bulldog
head that have been turned into a mecha! Although it
looks a bit ugly, but its ok by me as this
differentiate it with the usual gundam looks.

The head can turn 360 easily and have a mode called
sniper mode.

The sniper mode can be revealed with pushing down the
v fin, that will reveal some sort of extra camera or
something that can help Dynames to aim more efficiently.

Well thats what im told. or maybe its a v fin sunglasses?

wait, sunglasses?

GURRRRRRRREEEEEEEENNNNNNNNN LAGAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANNNNNN!! :D

FUCKKKK YEAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!

Next we have the hands. The hands can go 360 as being
shown by the pic below.

and can also go "up" like in the pic below. This
compensate the lack of articulation at that part as
the shoulder armor and the hands cannot move
seperately.

There's also an extra point of articulation at the
....errr....i dont know what that part is called, just
look at the pic below. Basically, it adds more range
of movement to this kit. And that is never a bad
thing.

the "grrr..im tough" pose.

The hands can rotate as the pic below shows.

Well here's the good thing about this kit, the arms
are double jointed! Hurray!

Take note of the GN strips behind the elbow that
"stretch" along when the arm moves. Nice! :)

The waist also can go 360 thanks to the no backpack
regulation of the OO gundam series has.

Yes, all ofthe gundam and a few MS in the series dont use booster
or backpack to fly, rather they use an egg shape
engine, called GN Drive, that produce glittering stars
to fly! Sweet!

Although Dynames's ass can be considered as a
backpack, i rather prefer to call it as an ass.
Dynames's ass. Big, juicy ass. MMmmmmmmmMMmmm..

Next is the front skirt than can move that far.

Hey, surprise!
It doesnt have any side or back skirts! That equals to more range of movement! Fuck yeah!

The legs then can go up that far (look at the pics
below) and can go back that far.

Quite good eh? The ankle of the kit is on a balljoint
so i think u can imagine it yourself how the
articulation is. The upper flap can move and the foot
also has a "bending" motion.

Well, Dynames's ass can move also.

The left and right of his ass can move independently
and can move like that, move like this and basically
move. Let the pics justify my words.

Onto the cloak. The side cloak (the large one), has
three separate part and each part uses a hinge like
joint that makes the cloak can open and all.

The back cloak however can only move up and down like
in the pic.

Now, as been seen earlier, the cloak can be moved and
be used to cover the front of the gundam
(makes it looks like Master Gundam or Batman?).

How is it done you ask? well, let me have the pleasure to show it to you.
There is a simple mechanism on the shoulder that is
used to "lock" the cloak into position. The first thing to do
is to pull the cloak part as been shown below.

Then u just position/move it to the front and just lock it by pushing it back into position. That will certaintly lock the cloak into position and the cloak will certaintly stay firmly.

The accessories/weapons that came with this kit is as
seen in the pic below.

First up is the beam or i prefer to call it, the
sniper rifle that have 2 interchangable rifle support thingie.

You can change it based on your preferences.
The second one (long one) is the extended of the short one.

Here's how Dynames looks like when he uses the sniper
rifle. Looks great and he can even use it when he's
lying down.

Next up is the handguns. Ban...i mean, TT Hongli :) gives you 2 hand guns,
where each one of them can be stored in each of the holsters
on the side of the legs. Nice!

My name is Hongli. TT Hongli.

Some poses that you can do with the hand guns.

The hand guns can also be used in the cloak mode and
it certaintly adds the points on what this kit can do.

And if u are a sword guy (like me!), there's always
the option of using the beam saber, that is nicely
stored on Dynames's ass.

The beam saber looks a bit different from other gundam
as it is flat on the side. but thats OK with me as
long as it gets the job done.

Well, thats all for the review of Dynames.
Now onto some problems that i encounter with this kit. First is the holsters. Dont open it too wide or it will snap and u will fo FUUUUUUUUUUUUUU.

Trust me as the holster on the left of my Dynames has broke. :(. And it will be hell to fix it. The hand guns also feels a bit tiny and out of size with dynames. If only they give a hand gun like Strike Noir get.

Then we have the knee connecter as shown below. I dont want to be picky, but they (Bandai) could at least add some details onto that part to make it looks more, well, detailed. It just looks plain to me.

Overall, Gundam Dynames is a great kit with some great points given on the hands and legs that are double jointed, the cloak and the overall sturdiness of the kit itself. It looks great and certaintly delivers as a great kit.

As you know, its a TT Hongli kit. A bootleg of Bandai. There will be some loose parts, some gaps and all but all of it can be repaired. I'll show u guys how to repair it in the future.

Therefore, i bestow upon this kit a 6 out of 10 points! Congratulation Dynames :). Thats all from me for now.

Cya again.

END!
