WIP again! Gale Strike Original Color Version, WIP 1~

After a long session of thinking about making this project (about 5 minutes + searching for pics, info and so on), i have decided! what the heck, i'll just go on with it. There's nothing to lose actually.

Except for the fact that maybe i'll ruin a kit, scared of the result might not be satisfying but lets just go on with the "just do it" attitude shall we? :)

So here's a view of a basic snap fitted, panel lined Gale Strike Gundam.

The front view.

Yeah, i know. I'm a panel line maniac. I panel line almost everything! i do tend to overdo it. Take the torso part for example.

The side view of Gale Strike. I really like the sword design. I think its called a ship cutter or something. The knee also looks cool. The shield placement is kinda weird but nevertheless, everything looks well placed.

The back view shows us more on why this gundam has "Strike" in its name. I think its a redesign strike or something where it gets a knee extension, the shoulder armor was placed to the back of the knee, the side skirt armor becomes the elbow armor and also the aile striker pack was different for this one.

Another side view.

So, right after taking the photo, i began to disassemble the gundam and began to identify which one has to be red and which one has to be blue etc. Basically, for this model, i'm going for the metallic/candy finish. I'll layer it first in silver and then proceed with a few layers of candy red. I think its going to be great. I hope so. :)

Here's the parts that need to be red in color. the foot, shoulder, sword, lower part of the body, the shield and also the backpack.

The other parts was nicely separated in compartments (head, leg, shield etc).

I hate dust. and my Gale Strike is basically a dust magnet. I have been displaying it on the shelf for quite a long time, 5 or 6 months actually and in that time period, there are so many dust covering it. You can see in the above pic of the foot part.

So, the best way to remove these dust is to just wash it.

All the parts thats been washed.

A close up shows water dripping from the part. I'll let it dries for a few hours. I'll update this later because i need to do my research proposal now. Need it to be emailed by Monday. See you guys later. :) ADIOS!
